My ABC's

Hana really likes to write now that she is learning to read. It is really fun to read these sentences that she comes up with. The other day, she wrote on a piece of paper, A-Z and then at the end of it she wrote "now I no my ABCs, necs time wonch you sing with me". Close enough!
This is what happens when you fall asleep in the middle of the day at our house. (He actually did wake up but pretended to be asleep for the girls sake)

Field Trip

Hana and Maddison have teachers that are best friends, so they sometimes plan field trips together! Yesterday, they went to see the movie "Horton Hears a Who". I was able to chaperone Maddies class and Hana was able to ride the bus and sit with us during the movie! Maddison made elephant ears in her class before they went. And, for only $8 each, we got to see the movie, and we got a soda and popcorn! Pretty good if you ask me. The movie was real cute...they laughed so hard! I only got one picture on the bus. Maddie and her friend are wearing their "ears"!

Easter

Not a lot to post about Easter. We went to church, came home and napped, then we went to the Munns' for dinner and egg hunt (thanks again for that!!!) The girls picked out their own dresses this year. We did manage to snap a quick picture before church. We were going to get one with Bryan and the girls, but never did.

Camera happy

The girls got some mini digital cameras for Christmas (thanks mom!) but I am having a real hard time figuring them out. They love them anyway! Some pictures came out pretty well! These are just a few of what I was able to download.

Shade Spring Line

I have been a Shade Clothing personal shopper for a year now. I am not a good sales person, I will admit. I am not pushy and dont get out there and "market" these products as much as I should. But, right now, I am in love with their new spring line. Some of these shirts are so great!
And the swim line? How cute are these tops?
If you need a catalog, let me know. If you would like to order something, let me know as well. If you want to be on my mailing list to recieve emails about upcoming sales or products...well, just let me know!!! Or, if you would like to host a party at your home showing off the new styles, and earning free clothes in the process, you can let me know about that as well. Any other questions, just leave a comment here. One last thing, I have noticed that some people have been ordering online and their orders are about a month behind in shipping. If you would like to order something, it would be faster through me, unless you dont mind waiting a month for your clothes!

My obsession

I, like most women, have an obsession. Shoes. I love a good pair of shoes. The only difference is that I do not indulge in this obsession. I have a thing against paying too much for shoes. Maybe if I had a bottomless bank account, I would feed this obession. But, right now, I absolutely cannnot see paying more than $50 for a pair of shoes. So, that leaves me with my Reefs, which are so much more comfortable than any pair of Louboutin shoes. And, what do I need a pair of red soled shoes for anyway? They would just get dirty the second I step out of my house. (I just keep telling myself that). In the meantime...here are some of my current faves...

Our quick weekend trip

Bryan had to get scuba certified for work and the open dives were done down in Pompano. His parents and my mom live in West Palm Beach, so we decided to go with him and stay the weekend and visit family. Quick trips with the girls is never the easiest thing. I always battle them when we get home due to lack of sleep and poor eating, but we still do it so we can see family.
Saturday, my mom took the girls and I shopping, which didnt go so well. Then we all went and got our nails done. It was the girls first time and they loved it! Mom treated me to a pedicure with a hot stone massage....DI-VINE!!!!! Maddie was a little scared at first, but then she had a good time!
Poor Chloe had a scratchy nose and couldnt scratch it till her nails were dry!
Saturday evening after dinner, we decided to go to the beach since it gets dark later now. The girls always act like they have never seen the beach before. So, they of course had a blast getting wet and running from the waves.Hana and Bryan's 9 year old sister, Sydnie.Maddison and her GP (GrandPa)There is something that still to this day, melts me when I see Bryan and his girls!
Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt, since we wont be with the family for Easter. Living away from family, you get used to doing holiday traditions not on the actual holiday.
Bryan did get certified, after a few problems. He had a cold, not something to go dive 60 feet with. The first day, he got a major nose bleed when diving and his ear would not "pop". When he came home from the 2nd dive, it looked like his eyes were black. The mask was too tight and constricted all the vessels in his face and eyes that they were all red and black and blue...even his eyelids! That and now both ears are plugged and wont "pop" and he can not hear and feels lots of pressure. Anyone know any remedies for that????

A day in the life of Chloe

Chloe's day starts out by waking up and saying goodmorning to everyone and giving everyone a hug...including Tex...whom she calls "my friend". Then, she will tell me if she is happy or mean, her only 2 emotions that she knows. Following breakfast, she has to decide which "dress-up" to wear, which can not be taken off, even for bed time. The other day, she was so worn out after such a long day of playing and coloring (on her face), that she crashed in my bed, wings and all.
Her normal routine is to eat, get dressed and then go to the back room with Tex. Now that I am babysitting 2 other kids 3 days a week, Tex usually stays in the back room. The gate is up in the doorway so he feels he is still with us. But, the other girls dont like him too much. He is much to hyper for them. Chloe loves him a little too much...so she spends most of the day dancing for him and singing to him, and sleeping with him. This is what I happened to find today.
Our little Ree Ree, always keeping us on our toes!

The baby gator

Bryan recieved a phone call yesterday that his friend had found a baby gator and wanted to know if Bryan wanted it. Sure, of course, because we have so much that we could do with a gator. So, of course, he went and got it. Now, I have seen gators before, but never held one. He made me do it. It wasnt that bad! The girls loved it! Then, like any good friend would do, he decided to pass it along to someone else who doesnt have enough animals, Sam. Sam came to pick it up and take it to the Munns house. It is now living in the fish tank at the Hacienda. Go figure! Chloe of course cried when they left with it. "My alalalala" We live in Florida. I am sure that is not the last she has seen of them!
Oh, and now, I am an honorary Floridian. Bryan has this thing about Yankees and Floridians. You are not a Floridian unless you were born and raised here. It isnt just him, it is all natives. Yankees come down here and think they are true Floridians just cause they built a home here. So, they dont like that. I have never considered myself a Floridian. I know I am a Yankee! The girls are since they were born here. But, last night, Bryan told me I am now a true Floridian. I became one when I picked up that gator! Thanks Bry!

Spring is here

...and we are loving it! We have been sick and busy and no time to play, so today was the perfect day for us to relax and play outside. The girls had fun just playing in the dirt, on the bikes and especially, the trampoline. Here are just a few of the many pictures I took. This dress that Chloe is in has been on her for the past 2 weeks. Well, I should say she has worn it every day for 2 weeks. I have to sneak it off of her while she is sleeping or while in the bath to wash it. Tomorrow is Sunday, I just hope we can battle it long enough to go to church without it on!
