I just recieved an email tonight that I had to share. Many of you know my 14 year old cousin passed away earlier this year. Well, a friend of his moms is running in honor of Jeremy and for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in the Chicago marathon. She is trying to raise money...all of which goes to charity. Please check out her page HERE. And, a big thanks to her for doing this.

I HAVE A VIRUS

The worst kind to get. A computer virus. It really stinks. I guess there is this new one, that I had never heard of. A window comes on your computer telling you that you have a virus, and if you click here, then it will run a scan and clear your computer of everything. Well, when you click "here" to run the scan, it imbeds the virus in your computer. NICE. It is the XP ANTIVIRUS 2008. I have tried everything I can to get rid of it. The files to delete are hidden, it seems immune to any spyware detector. I am at the end of my rope here. If anyone knows anything and can help, or point me in a direction of someone who can help, it would be greatly appreciated. And, if you ever see this on your computer.....dont click HERE!!!!!!

No Pudge

Has anyone heard of these? Have I been in the dark about these? If so, why didnt anyone ever tell me?
I found these brownies today that I thought I would try....so good. I never knew about them. They are called "No Pudge" and they are fat free, low calorie, and very few ingredients. All you do is take the mix and add YOGURT! Thats right. Or, you could add applesauce or silken tofu...which would be soooo good. Anyway, the flavors are delightful....like mint and raspberry....
The best part? On the back of the box, there are directions to make single servings...so if you just want one brownie and dont want to make the whole thing...you can do that! So, if you have never tried these...go out to Publix today and pick up a box...your hips will really thank you for it!!!!

This is blog-worthy

12 weeks ago I was so graceful and slipped and fell at the grocery store. 12 weeks. Enough time for the girls to have thier last days of school, and the hot summer to slowly creep by with a nasty hot cast on my hand. And, it would only be fitting that a few days before school starts back up...I get it off. Thats right. The cast finally came off. And I didnt get a new one put on. We have had blue, pink and finally, the last one was green. And, now, I have my hand back!!!! It is still sore, but what do you expect after not moving it for so long...and I have a MAJOR tan line!!!
We had to take a final picture...
Mom, cutting off my cast....The girls thought it was too loud...
And, no, I dont have any pictures of it after the cast came off. It looks so much better now, but it was scary to look at then. Chloe made me put something over my hand so she didnt have to look at it. The girls said it looked like a monkey. The hair on my arm grew for some reason, and dark. It was so gross. And the skin...well, I will save the details. All I know is that I am happy to get it back and moving. It is taking time to get used to it...I feel like I am left handed now. So, moral of the story...when you shop at Publix, make sure you watch for puddles....but they sure have made shopping a pleasure for me since then!

Fishing

Bryan took the girls fishing the other night in the pond out back. I cleaned up from dinner and headed out a little while later. I wanted to give him some time alone with them, since they spend every waking minute with me. They had such a good time...with a few good catches too! Just a bunch of little bass, but it was fun for them!
Something tells me this little guy didnt make it...

Tag- I'm it?

  • I have been tagged. I thought I would get out of this one...oh well... 3 Joys 1. My children 2. My husband 3. when it is the middle of the day and the phone rings and it is Bryan. He is so busy and just knowing that he has stopped in the middle of the day to call and say "I love you" melts me still! 3 Fears 1. Losing my kids at a young age 2. Having to tell our kids that one of us is gone 3. Falling to my death- its not the death part, its the falling. I can not stand the feeling...there is no way that I would ever bungee jump or sky dive or anything 3 Goals 1. get all my pictures printed from the computer 2. get all my pictures put in albums 3. to raise good and Godly children 3 Obsessions 1. Sugar Free Red Bull.. if it had any nutritional value, I would have it for every meal. 2. Swiffer Sweeper...seriously, what a great invention! 3. Aprons...I cant cook without one on...its just not the same. 4. My laundry/dishes. Oh how I love when someone cleans my house, but do not touch my laundry or dishes. I am particular about how they are done and I hate having to re-do it. Thanks for helping, but no thanks! 4. Oh, and I am also obsessed with Haagan Daz Cinnamon Dulce de Leche ice cream....nothing compares to it.... 3 Randoms 1. I used to drive the Monorail for Disney. I hated driving it. Scared me. 2. Ever since I was little, I have collected all things ladybugs and cherries. 3. I am a hopeless romantic. Play a romantic song for me or write a little love note, and I melt. Too bad the first card Bryan ever gave me had a picture of a cow on it and inside it said "I'll love you for heiffer"...doesnt that just scream romance??!! I tag... Lisa Kristen Shauna anyone else who wants to do it! (including Mark)

Harmony 5K

Harmony had a 5K to celebrate the opening of the new school. Since I was advised not to run, due the cast, Bryan decided to do it. Now, he has not run since high school, not even a practice run. He woke up at 7 this morning and decided last minute. So we all went to Harmony to watch it unfold. I thought for sure he would be way behind, towards the end. So, in came Scott and Tom with the lead, I was expecting to see Eva right there until Hana said "there's Daddy". I was not expecting him to come in so soon...20.05 was his time. (I didnt get any good finish line shots.) Eva and Joe were right behind him. I just have to say, good job! And, he was wearing some nasty short shorts this morning til I pitched a fit and made him take it off. He still wore a semi-short shirt and headband...not as bad as it would have been!
The camera was foggy...would have been a good picture...
Waiting for them to finishLittle Ree Ree...always so happy!Bryan at the finish line...Joe Bryan and Scott

water guns

After working so much, Bryan felt it was time for some playing with the girls. He brought home water guns for all of them, just little ones. He filled them up and of course, started the assault inside. When he disappeared for a minute, no one knew where he was, til he showed up with his own super soaker gun...cheater. The girls loved it and took turns with his gun (outside) and soaked him. Still, every once in a while, they will fill it up and hide from him when he gets home from work. Here, I was outside looking in at Hana, looking for Bryan.
The girls posing for the picture, not having a clue he was behind them!

Watch out...its graphic

Bry and I were going to take the kids out on the boat a few weeks ago, so he brought it over from the other house to our house to clean it. It wasnt long before he realized a raccoon had taken the wake board rope and somehow went into the front of the boat with it and wrapped it around everything. There was no way we could get it undone. There was droppings everywhere...it was gross. So, before heading out, he wanted to make sure nothing chewed through anything in the engine. He lifted up the cover and right there on top was a huge rat. It ran down into the boat. Long story short, we never caught it, went out on the lake anyway, and put it back where it was when we were done, with a few rat traps inside. A few days later, he called me to come over with a shovel....this is what we found...
That sucker was HUGE!
The nasty thing got caught in the trap in the front of the boat and managed to wiggle out of it and streak its nasty blood and guts through to the back of the boat where it finally perished. Let me tell you, the inside of our boat has never been cleaner!!!!!

I love my girls

Especially when they want to get on the computer and take 500 pictures with the camera!

Swimming at Disney

My cousin Amy came to town with her husband and daughter last week. Usually, we go and visit them at Disney on their "day off" from the parks and swim. This time, they were staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge...I thought. See, Bryan has been working there, so I had Animal Kingdom stuck in my head. We got there, found chairs, got in the pool, got out for a potty break, went back in the pool...still no Amy. She called asking where I was, well, she was at the pool too, but at Wilderness Lodge. Good one, Nea. We packed up and headed over there. Swam for a while, got out for the rain, had lunch, swam, got out for the rain, ate more, and swam!
It was a fun day, and so glad we could catch up. The girls had a blast with Taylor!
Taylor going down the slide
Hana...she was very hesitant at first, but then we couldnt keep her off of it!

This has gotten out of control

Once again, Brittany to the rescue. She was shopping today and picked up the new copy of Breaking Dawn...the 4th and final addition to the Twilight saga. I can not wait til the kids, and Bryan, go to bed to read it tonight!!! I am a serious geek.
